Are you looking for a public speaker? Do you plan to host an event relating to autism and/or neurodiversity (or trains) and are looking for real people (and not AI constructs) to talk about their experiences?
As a young child, I had some quirks and my parents were concerned that I would never be able to speak or read normally. They had no need to worry, however, and I managed to make it through the school system and graduate with a Masters degree in computer engineering.
I have been doing public speaking for many years and am now making myself available for speaking opportunities. I am presently based in North Florida and have previously presented at conferences hosted by the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities.
Speaking topics can include (but are not limited to)
- Childhood and growing up
- Neurodiversity at school and in the workplace
- Going to college or university
- Life skills and adulting
- Diversity among the neurodiverse
- Trains
All these can be delivered with my unique sense of humor, and slight Kiwi accent
